Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They help the site remember information about your visit. WhaleGram uses a minimal set of cookies strictly necessary to operate the Service.
| Name | Type | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| wg_adv_token | Strictly Necessary | 24 hours | Stores your authentication session (JWT). HTTP-only — cannot be read by JavaScript. Set only when you log in via Telegram. Without this cookie you cannot access the Advertiser Portal. |
We currently use no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any similar third-party tracking tools.
When you use the Telegram Login Widget on the Advertiser Portal login page, Telegram may set its own cookies as part of the OAuth-style authentication flow. These cookies are governed by Telegram's Privacy Policy.
No other third-party scripts or iframes are loaded on WhaleGram pages that could set cookies.
Since we only use a strictly necessary session cookie, consent is not required under most privacy regulations (including the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive). However, you can control cookies through your browser settings:
Note: disabling the wg_adv_token cookie will prevent you from staying logged in to the Advertiser Portal — you will need to log in again on each visit.
WhaleGram does not use localStorage or sessionStorage to store personal data or session tokens. Authentication state is managed exclusively via the HTTP-only cookie described above.
If we introduce new cookies (e.g. analytics in the future), we will update this policy, add the new cookies to the table above, and obtain consent where required by law.
For questions about our use of cookies, contact us via the Telegram link in our Terms of Service.
